Comma Oil & Chemicals was founded in 1965, as a UK-based, independent oil 'blender'. Our business grew and we fast became the first-choice supplier of engine oils to independent workshop mechanics in the UK. Our product portfolio has expanded well beyond engine oils and now includes pretty much every 'liquid car part' you could need to keep your car running, and looking its best - engine oils, gear oils, automatic transmission fluids, antifreeze/coolants, maintenance aerosols, greases and award winning car cleaning products.

Today, Comma's products are available to professional mechanics and motorists alike, through motor factors and automotive retailers respectively, in the UK. Our fast-growing export business also sees our products distributed to more than 40 other countries around the world.

Comma was founded on a real 'passion for performance' - we want to be excellent in everything we do. This passion for performance underpins our business, it's a way of life for us and makes it's way into every Comma product we produce. Because when used, our products are often 'out of sight', it can be hard to recognise this passion for performance and the impact it has.

A long association with the world of motorsport has offered us the ultimate test-bed and proving-ground for our products. In the cauldron of competition there is no hiding place. Where are we

Comma is based in Kent, South East England where all Operational and Head Office functions are undertaken on one site. We employ around 210 people in a range of roles - production, technical, customer services, sales and marketing.
