Documentation SpecialistAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced documentation specialist to implement, maintain and manage the documentation and regulatory compliance supporting our operational integrity management system. From day one the successful candidate will be able to accurately evaluate the status of our documentation and regulatory systems and begin to execute any required actions needed to get these systems functioning at a higher level. They will also have the ability and background knowledge to ensure continuous improvement and compliance of these systems. You must be able to demonstrate a real passion for documentation quality as well as proven regulatory compliance experience and quality assurance documentation experience, preferably from a Health and Safety, or government agency background. A degree or HNC Qualification in Business Administration or Engineering would be useful but not essential. Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager and working within the Health and Safety team, the ability to work within a team environment is essential, but able to work on own initiative. The key responsibilities are as follows: Ensure documentation and processes comply with the requirements of ISO 14001 and other applicable regulatory agencies and corporate company guidelines. Implementation of global policies and procedures aimed at creating identifiable, consistent and best practice processes and procedures. The development and implementation of all necessary procedures to ensure that document management is carried out at optimum effectiveness. Responsible for creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, departmental procedures and work instructions. Filing of project documents and drawings in conjunction with project and corporate naming and numbering procedure Archiving, retrieval and storage of documentation whilst adhering to company standards, policies, classification, company retention and disposal guidelines Carrying out quality checks and audits, identifying, documenting and correcting any anomalies. Liaise with Management to ensure standardisation and sharing of best practice is endorsed and reviewed.
