Comma gear and transmission oil range extensions

05/06/2014

The new product and range extensions add an extra 1,301 model lines to Comma's innovative online application system.

The new product, MVMTF 75W80, is a multi-vehicle fluid that will cover a range of vehicles requiring a 75W-80, API GL-4 transmission fluid. Manufacturers covered include Vauxhall/Opel, Honda, Land Rover, MINI, Mitsubishi and Volvo. Available in 1-litre packs, the new product will be suitable for a total of 643 model lines.

Comma has also announced a significant number of application extensions for two existing products in its transmission fluids portfolio. EP75W-80, which caters for a large number of Renault models, now covers a further 467 model lines, while the MVMTF 75W-90 range will encompass an additional 191 model lines.

The extended application coverage comes as gearboxes and their components become increasingly specialised, making it more important than ever for workshop technicians to select the right gear and transmission oil applications.

Choosing the correct lubricant for various gear and transmission systems may appear daunting so Comma's online application system at CommaOil.com is here to help, providing recommendations for almost every European car manufactured in the past 30 years. The data comes complete with Comma's 100% Compatibility Guarantee, for added peace of mind.

You will also find that CommaOil.com is even easier to navigate with a new search bar facility on each page across the site to help you locate information and products fast.
